AppBox Pro: Secure Essential Multiple Toolkit

There are tons and tons of apps in Apple’s App Store (more than 425K according to Wikipedia) and most of them focus on doing one thing and one thing alone. The AllAboutApps-developed AppBox Pro isn’t like that. It is different from most apps because it doesn’t do just one thing. It is in fact a collection of several tools. Or as the NY Times put it, it is a “Swiss army knife of apps.”

The app gives you access to various system tools that tell you how much battery you have left, how much talk-time you have left, provide info on memory usage , and so on. It also gives you access to several types of calendars and calculators, gives you access to some handy measuring tools (ruler, bubble level, surface level), gives you access to a flashlight, gives you access to a tip calculator and a loan calculator, gives you access to a translator that supports numerous languages, gives you access to a random number generator gives you access to a secure wallet, and gives you access to many other useful tools. Covering them all would just take too much time.

Putting the spotlight on the secure wallet, I have to say I liked this tool the best. I liked the fact that I can securely store bank info, credit card info, and other info that I want to keep private. I also liked that I could customize the way the wallet as I saw fit and that I can use it to protect images from my album.

You might be tempted to thing that just because AppBox Pro gives you access to a myriad of useful tools, that it might be difficult to use the app. This is definitely not the case here. It is quite easy to access all the tools AppBox Pro has to offer and using each tool individually is not difficult at all. 

The bottom line is that AppBox Pro is a nice collection of numerous useful tools. You get a lot of much needed functionality for a very low price.

Speaking of price, if you’re not willing to part with your hard earned money, you could get a taste of what AppBox has to offer by getting the Lite version which is offered free of charge.
